A Day in the Hood...EngleHood that is.

High risk activity for Black Folks is simply getting up in the morning. In fact further than that, even laying down could end up being your final resting place. If they ain't killing us slowly through the slop that the Sam and Mike Merchants sell to us at stick up prices, or forced to fight amongst each other due to a situation from the state saturating our communities with rats (literally and figuratively) speaking, stressed out from strip searches and shakedowns, to that of the final solution of the pigs popping us off. When white folks say today was a good day, they may mean that the stock markets went well. However, when we say that. We speak in reference to the point that we may have only been pulled over twice by the pigs,or even the fact that we were able to make it back home in one piece. With that being said, Wednesday, Nov.9,2011 approx.11:45 pm.Two (2) Chicago Police Detective cars pull up. Both occupied with about five (5) detectives. Yes, five! a piece. So, the initial car Crown Victoria lic#160460 occupants jump out initially. Give myself and another brother the third, fourth, and fifth degree. What you doing?! Where is your ID?! Don't look at me!, etc.. Also, for the record for those who have a preference as to what color the cop is. They happened to be all colored on this occasion. After Detective Green and his crew completed their "civil duties" they proceeded to patrol the rest of the ghetto in order to "serve and protect" the rest of the residents within the colonized community. Today was a "good day", comparatively speaking. -Chairman Fred Jr.
